What we collect — and what we don't
This website sets no cookies and loads no resources from third-party CDNs. Fonts and all assets are served from our own hosting. We use a cookieless analytics service that does not track you across sites — see Analytics below.
Hosting & server logs
The website is served by our hosting provider. When you visit, technical data (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser type) is processed in server logs as technically necessary to deliver the site and ensure its security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). Log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted according to the provider's retention schedule.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process the data you enter (name, email, optionally company, and your message) solely to answer your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). The data is sent to us by email and stored in our mailbox. We delete inquiry data once the matter is concluded, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking. It records aggregate page views and coarse technical data (page path, referrer, country, device and browser type) and does not build a profile of you or identify you as an individual. The analytics script is served from our own domain. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website.
Processor: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. A data processing agreement including EU standard contractual clauses is in place.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. To exercise these rights, contact robert@hooperworks.at. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
